Chevrolet
and GMC 6.2 and 6.5
We have been converting the GMC/Chevy Diesel engine since 2001 and
have hundreds of them on the road and running strong. The earlier
6.2 and 6.5 are decent engines that do well on SVO They are equipped
with a Stanadyne rotary injection pump that is placed in the valley
of the V8 design. This is optimum placement for engine to injection
pump heat transfer.
6.6 Duramax
Since our first 6.6 Duramax conversion
in 2003, we have done many other successful Duramax conversions.
We have long term positive results, understand the engine and know
exactly what it needs to run on SVO.
We know what the real issues are and more importantly, what are
not issues. Whether it is the early injector issues (unrelated to
SVO) or the effective fix to the faulty EGR valve in recent
models, we understand this engine and have an experienced track
record.

Golden Fuel Systems is proud to announce the newest Upgrade to
our Fuel Systems. In addition to the 12 and 20 Gallon Capacity
tanks, the Trekker Poly System is now available in single-chamber
40 and single-chamber 60 gallon Tanks with the ability to combine
these tanks for multiple set-ups. These systems are modular and
could expand to double, triple or quadruple chamber systems with
capacities up to 240 Gallons (4 - 60 gallon Tanks).
Dual, Triple and Quadruple tank systems allow for the ability
to collect and filter oil in cooler weather. This is a great feature
if there are no home filtration capabilities or if you travel
great distances and need the ability to collect, warm and filter
oil through the filter bags placed over the 8” port. Multiple
tanks for on-board filtration are a necessity in cooler weather
as cold oil does not filter well and you will need a method to
warm the oil before filtering (1+ Tank for Heating, 1+ Tank to
filter into). We recommend filtering oil between 80°-120°.
For more information on Collecting and Filtering Oil, please purchase
our Liquid Gold II DVD or Box Set of DVDs available here.
In addition, the 2+ Trekker Tank Set-ups are upgradeable with
the Integrated One-Shot Filtration System or Integrated Half-shot
Filtration System for even easier on-board filtering. The Integrated
One-Shot (IOS) or Half-shot Filtration (IHS) System allows the
user to control the filtration system from inside the vehicle.
No more standing out in the cold to pump and filter oil! Just
Transfer oil from an oil container with the 7 GPM Transfer Pump
(available upgrade) into the holding/warming tank/chamber. When
the user is on the road, they can flip the switch for the IOS/IHS
and activate the filtration system. It will draw the warm oil
from the holding tank/chamber (tank number 1), filter it through
a heated Racor Aquabloc filter and discharge it into the clean
tank/chamber (Tank number 2). This is an unparalleled mobile collection
and filtration system for the cold months.
