This filter is perfect for those that need the protection of Racor, but need to keep it under a cover or under the vehicle. Mount on the frame rail, near the wheel well or in the engine compartment on Trucks and Cars (check dimensions before ordering, please.)

The External Heater wrap is designed to turn on as soon as your vehicle starts up and stays on while the vehicle is running. The internal heater is a perfect complement to the external heater. It is wired to a thermostat so it turns on at 50 degrees and brings the fluid up to 80 degrees. This protects the filter internals from the powerful 200 Watt heater when it’s not necessary to have it on. External Heater Wrap load: 10 amps, Internal Heater Load: 16.6 amps

The 6120 filter elements are chemically treated with Racor's exclusive Aquabloc treatment to repel water and ensure it ends up in your settling bowl and not in your injection system. The spin-on element of this filter needs to be primed after changing them. The head on this filter has multiple in and out ports, allowing multiple mounting configurations. Unused ports are sealed with provided hardware. Dimensions are 14.12”H x 4.5 Diameter 3.9lbs Flow rate is 120 gallons per hour.

With properly pre-filtered oil you can expect anywhere from 3000 - 6000 miles on an element. This filter uses the R120T 10 micron or R120S 2 micron replacement elements.
